The Highland Shores pavilion was transformed into a lively gathering place for the annual summer picnic, with residents bringing dishes, desserts, and plenty of stories to share. Live music from a local acoustic trio filled the air as children played lawn games and families spread blankets along the grass.
This year's event drew a record crowd, with attendance topping 120 residents. The social committee organized a potluck buffet, a dessert contest, and a sunset raffle that raised funds for next year's fireworks display.
"Events like this remind us why we live here," said board president David Chen. "It's not just the lake—it's the people."
